Maintenance Plans

Garden Hose Sprinkler

The Services Included

A standard twice-a-year program typically includes a spring "startup" and a fall "winterization" (or shutdown). Be clear about what each visit entails and what is not included.

Typical Spring Startup (First Visit):

Turning on the water supply and re-pressurizing the system.

Checking for and repairing any leaks or broken pipes from the winter.

Testing and adjusting each zone for proper coverage and pressure.

Cleaning or replacing clogged sprinkler heads.

Programming the controller for the new watering season.

Checking and adjusting rain sensors.

Typical Fall Winterization (Second Visit):

Shutting off the water supply to the system.

Using an air compressor to "blow out" all the water from the pipes, valves, and heads. This is crucial in Texas to prevent pipes from freezing and bursting during a cold snap.

Draining and shutting off the backflow prevention device.

Turning off the irrigation controller.

Your Maintenance Program: What's Included and How We Handle Repairs

Our sprinkler maintenance program is designed to be proactive, helping to keep your system running efficiently and catch potential issues before they become major problems.

The program fee covers the routine services performed during our scheduled visits, such as system checks, adjustments, and winterization (or spring startup).

Please note that the cost of your maintenance program does not include parts or extensive labor for major repairs.

If we discover an issue during our inspection that requires a repair, our policy is to:

  1. Provide a transparent estimate for all parts and labor needed to fix the issue.

  2. Wait for your approval before performing any additional work.

As a valued maintenance program member, you will also receive a discounted rate on any necessary repairs, ensuring you get the best value while keeping your lawn beautiful. This transparent approach means you'll never be surprised by an unexpected charge.
